Overview of Synchrotron Radiation
After Schott’s [3] unsuccessful attempt to explain atomic radiation with his electromagnetic theory no further progress was made for some 40 years mainly because of lack of interest. Only in the mid forties did the theory of electromagnetic radiation from free electrons become interesting again with the successful development of circular high-energy ...

Structural Control of Photoconductivity in a Flexible Titanium‐Organic Framework
The concept of flexibility is extended to titanium frameworks and use it to gain control over charge transport. MUV‐35 is a flexible doubly interpenetrated framework that can shrink spontaneously its volume by ≈40% to afford a photoconductive, porous state that is thermodynamically favored by non‐covalent interactions. Abstract The soft nature of Metal‐

Synchrotron radiation of relativistic electrons is an important radiation mechanism in many astrophysical sources. In the sources where the synchrotron cooling time scale $t_c$ is shorter than the dynamical time scale $t_{dyn}$, electrons are cooled down

This review explores how in situ and operando spectroscopic techniques reveal the real‐time behavior of reticular materials, including MOFs and COFs. These methods track material formation and functionalization, structural changes, defect formation, dynamic responses to external triggers, and catalytic processes.

Iodine‐Doped Sodium Vanadate Cathode for Improved Zn Ion Diffusion Kinetics
An iodine‐doping strategy is developed to modify the Na2V6O16·3H2O cathode for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries, effectively reducing the electrostatic interaction between zinc ions and the host structure. This modification enables faster diffusion and higher storage capacity of zinc ions. Abstract The electrostatic interaction between zinc ions and the host

Gamma Ray Burst Prompt Emission Variability in Synchrotron and Synchrotron Self-Compton Lightcurves
Gamma Ray Burst prompt emission is believed to originate from electrons accelerated in a highly relativistic outflow. "Internal shocks" due to collisions between shells ejected by the central engine is a leading candidate for electron acceleration. While
