Understanding biases and changes in European heavy precipitation using dynamical flow precursors [PDF]

open access: yesWeather and Climate Dynamics
We address the problem of understanding precipitation in climate models. Using a novel decomposition applied to two large ensemble simulations, we disaggregate biases and forced changes in European heavy precipitation occurrence into contributions from ...

Stereochemical Control in the Matteson Reaction

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The Matteson homologation is a highly versatile method for the stereoselective insertion of carbenoids into boronic esters. Through iterative application of the process, complex chiral molecules can be synthesized. The stereoselectivity of the reaction is determined by a chiral diol incorporated in the boronic ester.
