ABSTRACT Studies of hemispheric specialization have traditionally cast the left hemisphere as specialized for language and the right hemisphere for spatial function. Much of the supporting evidence for this separation of function comes from studies of healthy adults and those who have sustained lesions to the right or left hemisphere.

High temperature syntactic foam [PDF]
Resins from the polyimide, polybenzimidazole polyamide-imide, phenolic, silicone, and urethane families were formulated with glass microbubbles and carbon microspheres to produce low density, high strength syntactic foams. The polyimide and polybenzimidazole foams were the most thermally stable, but even the urethane exceeded the design goals.

This study reveals how wave propagation in FG‐MEE nanoplates can be tuned via material gradients, porosity, and external fields. Using NSGT and Hamilton's principle, analytical solutions capture key dispersion behaviors. Findings highlight the potential of smart nanoplates for adaptive control in high‐performance applications like sonar and aerospace ...

Phenolic resin syntactic foams [PDF]
Syntactic foams were prepared from blends of six phenolic resins and carbon microbubbles. The compressive strength of the phenolic resin foams is equivalent to the strength of foams made from a polyimide resin. Ammonia evolved during the cure diffuses rapidly and is not bound by the foam.

ABSTRACT Background Electrocardiographic parameters have emerged as valuable noninvasive markers for risk stratification in acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Aims This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between R wave peak time (RWPT) and coronary artery disease (CAD) severity, and to assess its prognostic value for in‐hospital major adverse cardiac ...
