Nature of syntactic priming: relevance and interplay of semantic and syntactic information

open access: yes, 2007
It is an ongoing matter of debate, what the nature of syntactic priming effects, and hence, the nature of grammatical information in language processing is. Two specific issues are the fo-cus of the current examination: firstly, the possible relevance of semantic information, and secondly, the role of different stages in grammatical encoding (as ...

A Systematic Review of Complications Following Elective Foot and Ankle Surgery

open access: yesJournal of Foot and Ankle Research, Volume 19, Issue 4, December 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Complications following elective foot and ankle surgery are a significant source of morbidity and may impair recovery. Evidence is often procedure specific, limiting a broader understanding. This review aimed to synthesize complication profiles, risk factors, and mitigation strategies across elective procedures.

MyD88‐Family Adaptors: Compartmentalised Signalling and Non‐Immune Functions

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 179, Issue 4, Page 537-553, December 2026.
MyD88‐family adaptors coordinate receptor‐ and compartment‐specific innate immune signalling across plasma membrane and endosomal pathways. At the plasma membrane, TIRAP/MAL supports MyD88‐dependent signalling downstream of TLR2 and TLR4, whereas endosomal TLR7, TLR8 and TLR9 recruit MyD88 directly.

Context‐free graphs and their transition groups

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract Starting from context‐free inverse graphs, we introduce a new class of groups and study their structural properties. We establish closure properties, show that their coword problems are context‐free, analyze torsion elements, and realize them as subgroups of the asynchronous rational group.

Vibe Coding for Simulation Development in Engineering Education

open access: yesComputer Applications in Engineering Education, Volume 34, Issue 6, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Simulation‐based learning is widely adopted in engineering education because it enables learners to explore complex engineering systems through interactive and self‐paced learning. However, developing educational simulations traditionally requires both domain expertise and software development skills.
