Design and Analysis of Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer
2008 First International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology, 2008This paper consists of design and analysis of direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDFS). Its key elements are: phase accumulator, a phase to amplitude converter (sine ROM) also called look-up table (LUT), a digital to analog converter (DAC) and a filter. The phase values are generated using modulo 2N overflowing property of a N-bit phase accumulator.

Music synthesizer for Digital Logic Design course
2011 IEEE International Conference on Microelectronic Systems Education, 2011The paper describes the use of an FPGA Spartan-3E board in a Digital Logic Design course to synthesize music for students who have no or minimal background in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The authors hope that this paper may be used as a reference to build a better Digital Logic Design course.

Designing of a novel dextransucrase efficient in synthesizing oligosaccharides
International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2017Dextransucrase (EC2.4.5.1) from strain Leuconostoc mesenteroides 0326, which synthesizes dextran and oligosaccharides, which act as prebiotics, are popularly used in such industries as food and medicine. A novel dextransucrase efficient in synthesizing oligosaccharides was designed.

Design of A 2.4-GHz integrated frequency synthesizer
Proceedings of the 2005 conference on Asia South Pacific design automation - ASP-DAC '05, 2005A 2.4-GHz integrated frequency synthesizer of PLL-based in 0.35-/spl mu/m RF process is presented. A fully integrated cross-coupled LC VCO of low phase noise is implemented. Prescaler accompanied with phase-switching is used to eliminate the glitch. The charge-pump having excellent current matching performance and wide output voltage range is achieved.
