Three-Dimensional Imaging of Circular Array Synthetic Aperture Sonar for Unmanned Surface Vehicle

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) and interferometric synthetic aperture sonar (InSAS) have a range layover phenomenon during underwater observation, the AUV-mounted circular synthetic aperture sonar (CSAS) system, that insonifies targets using multiple ...

Multifocal interferometric synthetic aperture microscopy

open access: yesOptics Express, 2013
There is an inherent trade-off between transverse resolution and depth of field (DOF) in optical coherence tomography (OCT) which becomes a limiting factor for certain applications. Multifocal OCT and interferometric synthetic aperture microscopy (ISAM) each provide a distinct solution to the trade-off through modification to the experiment or via post-

A New Classification Approach with Deep Mask R-CNN for Synthetic Aperture Radar Image Segmentation

open access: yesElektronika ir Elektrotechnika, 2020
In this paper, a hybrid classification approach which is combined with a more deep mask region-convolutional neural network and sparsity driven despeckling algorithm is proposed for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image segmentation instead of the ...

GEOREFERENCING ON SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR IMAGERY [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2015
Due to the SAR1 geometry imaging, SAR images include geometric distortions that would be erroneous image information and the images should be geometrically calibrated.

Synthetic Aperture Scatter Imaging

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Diffraction limits the minimum resolvable feature on remotely observed targets to $\lambda R_{c}/A_{c}$, where $\lambda$ is the operating wavelength, $R_{c}$ is the range to the target and $A_{c}$ is the diameter of the observing aperture.

Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
