We developed methods to characterize soft contractile actuators using force–displacement measurements in the passive state and the total force in the active state and define the operational range of thermal, electrothermal, and pneumatic muscles. Azole γ‐Peptides Helix Switching via Heterocycle Substitutions
Heterocycle substitution in azole‐based γ‐amino acids enables control over the helical shape of heterocyclic γ‐peptides. S↔N permutation in thiazole residues switches a canonical 9‐helix into a flexible helix exhibiting discontinuous hydrogen bonding.

Designing Wire Mazes for Replicating Natural Echoes to Study Bat Biosonar Function
A validated framework combining efficient physical modeling (multiple scattering model) and deep learning is presented to guide wire‐maze design for bat biosonar studies. This approach rapidly generates large datasets to test acoustic distinguishability among wire arrangements.
