Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Precessing Jets and Molecular Outflows: A 3-D Numerical Study
We present 3-D numerical hydrodynamical simulations of precessing supersonic heavy jets to explore how well they serve as a model for generating molecular outflows from Young Stellar Objects.

In Situ 3D Bioprinting: Impact of Cross‐Linking on the Adhesive Properties of Hydrogels
In situ 3D bioprinting enables the direct deposition of cell‐laden, adhesive biomaterials for on‐site tissue regeneration. This review provides a comprehensive overview of how cross‐linking influences the bioadhesive properties of hydrogels used in 3D bioprinting, highlighting cross‐linking triggers, bioadhesion mechanisms, polymer interpenetration ...

Theoretical and Experimental Assessment of Nonlinear Acoustic Effects through an Orifice
Nonlinear acoustic effects become prominent when acoustic waves propagate through an orifice, particularly at higher pressure amplitudes, potentially generating vortex rings and transferring acoustic energy into the flow.

We report a polymer‐chain insertion strategy to fabricate pore‐threaded MOF thin films with precisely tuned surface chemistry and wettability. Grafting n‐alkane chains into the pillared layer Cu2(bdc)2(dabco) MOF thin film's vertical nanochannels enhances water stability, and induces hydrophobicity and lubricant‐free, solid‐like slippery behavior ...

Amyloidogenic Peptide Fragments Designed From Bacterial Collagen‐like Proteins Form Hydrogel
This study identified amyloidogenic sequence motifs in bacterial collagen‐like proteins and exploited these to design peptides that self‐assemble into β‐sheet fibers and form hydrogels. One hydrogel supported healthy fibroblast growth, showing promise for biocompatible materials. Our work demonstrates that bacterial sequences can be harnessed to create

Flow control in axial fan inlet guide vanes by synthetic jets
Tested high pressure axial flow fan with hub/tip ratio of 0.70 and external diameter of 600 mm consisted of inlet guide vanes (IGV), rotor and stator blade rows. Fan peripheral velocity was 47 m/s. Air volume flow rate was changed by turning of rear part

Structure of the magnetoionic medium around the FR Class I radio galaxy 3C 449
The goal of this work is to constrain the strength and structure of the magnetic field associated with the environment of the radio source 3C 449, using observations of Faraday rotation, which we model with a structure function technique and by ...
