Production of Synthetic Gas from the JobMan Coal and Natural Gas
さきにKoppes-Totzek炉によつて低品位常磐炭をガス化しその保証能力の150%に達する成績を納めたことを報告したが, さらに煉瓦壁寿命を飛躍的に延長することに成功し, したがつて反応そのものに益のないガス化用蒸気の使用をやめ, ガス化バーナ_の改良により能力を増大し, かつ安全性を大きくすることに成功した。さらに石炭に加えて同時に天然ガスを導入し, これまでの改良によりCO+H2にして当初3, 000m3/h (炉一基容積約10m3当り) の能力を10, 000m3/hに増大することができた。
