Can hydrophobic, shape‐selective zeolites efficiently remove the persistent pharmaceutical CBZ from water? This work moves beyond the static picture of interaction energies by modeling diffusion with umbrella sampling and machine‐learned potentials. Even high intrinsic diffusion barriers can be overcome through exergonic adsorption from water, yielding

Synthetic zeolite utilised for synthesis of Oleate ester [PDF]
Synthetic zeolite was successfully prepared by hydrothermal treatment. Structural morphologies, compositions, surface area and acidic strength were analysed by Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron ...

Semiconducting Single‐Wall Antimony Oxide Nanotubes and Oxidotritelluridoantimonate(V) Anions
Antimony(V) binds directly to tellurium(−II) in the (SbOTe3)3− anion. The latter has been found between Sb2O3 nanotubes in a microporous cetineite structure. The Sb2O3 nanotube is positively polarized on its outer surface and negatively polarized on its inner surface, corresponding to a cylindrical capacitor. Substantial charge transfer from the anions

We report a reversible structural phase transition in a metal–organic framework (MOF) triggered by the exchange of coordinative guest molecules. This MOF consists of rigid 1D Pb–O rods as building units, forming a 3D framework with 1D pores. Guest exchange induces pronounced changes in both the Pb–O rod structure and the dimensionality of the framework.

To Investigate the absorption, dynamic contact angle and printability effects of synthetic zeolite pigments in an inkjet receptive coating [PDF]
Ink absorption performance in inkjet receptive coatings containing synthetic zeolite pigments was studied. Coating pigment pore and particle size distribution are the key parameters that influence in modifying media surface properties, thus affecting the

Combining the chiral bispidine ligand L1 with MnCl2 affords coordination polymers (CPs) with an unusual topology for this family of compounds, consisting of orthogonally packed ribbon‐like one‐dimensional (1D) chains. Their behavior was investigated through single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal exchange with aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and ...

Abstract Acid catalyzed conversion of durene by isomerization, disproportionation, and transalkylation is of interest to the development of a methanol‐to‐jet process to reduce the amount of durene in the kerosene. It was of interest to determine whether durene conversion could be performed at a temperature lower than 350°C.

Revisiting the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from methanol and carbon dioxide
Abstract The process for producing dimethyl carbonate (DMC) from carbon dioxide (CO2) and methanol is explored in this article. It provides an overview of the thermodynamics involved in DMC synthesis, discussing the challenges and potential solutions. The article highlights the reported use of catalysts and dehydrating agents to improve DMC yield and ...
