Alternating current sensor system using GMM

Optoelectronics Letters, 2006
Based on the principle of FBG sensing mechanism, an alternating current sensor system, which uses a FBG attached on a magnetostrictive rod as the probe, was developed. A dynamic interrogation method was proposed based on wide band light source, by making use of the linear relationship between its power intensity and wavelength as spectrum filter.

Speaker verification with mostly voiced speech for GMM/UBM and GMM/IBM systems

2017 IEEE First Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON), 2017
The paper proposes the use of just mostly voiced speech (MVS) for speaker verification (SV). The speech is partitioned into an MVS part and a non-MVS part by a simple machine classification. SV experiments were held with a standard Gaussian mixture model (GMM) with universal background model (UBM) system and a GMM with computationally improved ...

A GMM/CPSO speech recognition system

2015 IEEE 24th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2015
This paper proposes the optimization of a GMM system for the automatic recognition of numerical commands of voice using Chaotic Particle Optimization (CPSO). In addition preprocessing the speech signal with mel-frequency cepstral coefficients, we use the discrete cosine transform (DCT) to generate a two-dimensional temporal array used as input to a GMM
