Feature Extraction and NN-Based Enhanced Test Maneuver Deployment for 2 DoF Vehicle Simulator

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper presents a deployment method of various test maneuver scenarios for 2 degree of freedom (2 DoF) vehicle simulator by using feature extraction and neural networks (NN). A prototype version has been set up for the 2 DoF vehicle simulator.

Quantification of total phenols, flavonoides and tannins from Ziziphus jujuba (mill.) and Ziziphus lotus (l.) (Desf). Leaf extracts and their effects on antioxidant and antibacterial activities

open access: yesInternational Journal of Secondary Metabolite, 2017
This work was performed to determine the biochemical composition, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of leaf extracts collected from four different provenances: Mahdia and Mahres (Ziziphus jujuba); Kairouan and Rouhia (Ziziphus lotus).

Vehicular Applications of Koopman Operator Theory—A Survey

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Koopman operator theory has proven to be a promising approach to nonlinear system identification and global linearization. For nearly a century, there had been no efficient means of calculating the Koopman operator for applied engineering purposes.

Parameter identification in a semilinear hyperbolic system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We consider the identification of a nonlinear friction law in a one-dimensional damped wave equation from additional boundary measurements. Well-posedness of the governing semilinear hyperbolic system is established via semigroup theory and contraction ...

Reconstruction and Particle Identification for a DIRC System [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We study the reconstruction and particle identification (PID) problem for Ring Imaging devices providing a good knowledge of the direction of the Cerenkov photons, as the DIRC system, on which we specialize. We advocate first the use of the stereographic

Quantum identification system

open access: yes, 1998
A secure quantum identification system combining a classical identification procedure and quantum key distribution is proposed. Each identification sequence is always used just once and new sequences are ``refuelled'' from a shared provably secret key ...

Dynamic Mode Decomposition for Compressive System Identification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Dynamic mode decomposition has emerged as a leading technique to identify spatiotemporal coherent structures from high-dimensional data, benefiting from a strong connection to nonlinear dynamical systems via the Koopman operator.

Implant identification system

open access: yesInternational Dental Journal, 1999
Osseointegrated oral implantology has become a widespread option of dental care. A universal system of implant identification is required to enable dentists, patients and participating third parties to accurately identify a particular implant and historically record and follow its bio-clinical status.

Lightning discharge identification system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
A system for differentiating between cloud to cloud and cloud to ground lightning discharges is described which includes an electric field antenna that senses the rate of charge of an electric field produced by a lightning discharge.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
