Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Computation of least order solutions of linear rational equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We propose a numerically reliable approach for computing solutions of least McMillan order of linear equations with rational matrix coefficients. The main computational ingredients are the orthogonal reduction of the associated system matrix pencil to a ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Solution of polynomial Lyapunov and Sylvester equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A two-variable polynomial approach to solve the one-variable polynomial Lyapunov and Sylvester equations is proposed. Lifting the problem from the one-variable to the two-variable context gives rise to associated lifted equations which live on finite ...

On Critical Behaviour in Systems of Hamiltonian Partial Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We study the critical behaviour of solutions to weakly dispersive Hamiltonian systems considered as perturbations of elliptic and hyperbolic systems of hydrodynamic type with two components.

Numerical Solutions for Multi-Term Fractional Order Differential Equations with Fractional Taylor Operational Matrix of Fractional Integration [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
In this article, we propose a numerical method based on the fractional Taylor vector for solving multi-term fractional differential equations. The main idea of this method is to reduce the given problems to a set of algebraic equations by utilizing the ...

Solving Systems of Linear Equations Based on Approximation Solution Projection Analysis

open access: yesApplied Computer Systems, 2021
The paper considers an iterative method for solving systems of linear equations (SLE), which applies multiple displacement of the approximation solution point in the direction of the final solution, simultaneously reducing the entire residual of the ...

Cell geometry and membrane protein crowding constrain Escherichia coli growth rate, overflow metabolism, respiration, and maintenance energy

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

A Legendre Computational Matrix Method for Solving High-Order Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesWalailak Journal of Science and Technology, 2013
In this paper, a matrix method for the approximate solution of high order fractional differential equations (FDEs) in terms of a truncated Legendre series is presented.

EPr Solution to a System of Matrix Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Linear Algebra & Matrix Theory, 2013
A square complex matrix is called if it can be written in the form with being fixed unitary and being arbitrary matrix in . We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the solution to the system of complex matrix equation and present an expression of the solution to the system when the solvability conditions are satisfied. In
