Piper nigrum Has an Antitumor Effect Through Regulation of the Phosphatidylinositol 3‐Kinase Signaling Pathway in a Murine Model of Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Overview of the antileukemic effects of Piper nigrum extract in AML. P. nigrum reduced leukemic cell proliferation and glycolytic metabolism through modulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. In vivo, treatment reduced leukemic burden, improved hematological parameters, prolonged survival, and modulated antitumor immune responses.
