Exponential stabilization for discrete-time uncertain 2-D switched systems
In this paper, the problem of exponential stabilization is investigated for a class of discrete-time uncertain two-dimensional (2-D) switched systems, which are formulated by the well-known Fornasini-Marchesini local state-space model.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Predictive control of networked systems with communication delays
This paper studies the problem of predictive output feedback control for networked control systems with random communication delays. A networked predictive control scheme is employed to compensate for random communication delays, which mainly consists of

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Secure Control Systems A Quantitative Risk Management Approach
Critical infrastructures must continuously operate safely and reliably, despite a variety of potential system disturbances. Given their strict operating requirements, such systems are automated and controlled in real time by several digital controllers ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Supervisory control of multilevel discrete-event systems with a bus structure
High-tech systems often contain a few components with many dependencies across the system, acting as system-level integrating components. In a hierarchical system decomposition, such so-called bus components tend to be placed in the top node.
