Pneumoperitoneum in two cats treated with trilostane for hypercortisolism
Veterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, February 2026.Abstract This report describes two cases of pneumoperitoneum in cats receiving treatment for hypercortisolism and diabetes mellitus. Both cats presented with abdominal distention and lethargy and diagnoses of pneumoperitoneum were radiographically confirmed.

Aspiration of superabsorbent polymer beads in a 2‐year‐old Boston terrier

Superabsorbent polymers are widely used in children's toys and decorative products, and they possess the ability to expand significantly in water.
