Pneumoperitoneum in two cats treated with trilostane for hypercortisolism
Abstract This report describes two cases of pneumoperitoneum in cats receiving treatment for hypercortisolism and diabetes mellitus. Both cats presented with abdominal distention and lethargy and diagnoses of pneumoperitoneum were radiographically confirmed.

Aspiration of superabsorbent polymer beads in a 2‐year‐old Boston terrier
Abstract This case report describes the first documented instance of a dog aspirating a superabsorbent polymer bead, commonly marketed as Orbeez, and its successful removal. Superabsorbent polymers are widely used in children's toys and decorative products, and they possess the ability to expand significantly in water.

Abstract A 10‐year‐old, female, spayed Pitbull mix presented for evaluation of an arrhythmia. Echocardiography revealed enlargement of all cardiac chambers and decreased left ventricular systolic function. Electrocardiography demonstrated isolated, ventricular premature complexes.

Severe anaemia secondary to duodenal adenoma in a cat
Abstract A 7‐year‐old female, spayed, domestic shorthair presented with a 24‐hour history of anorexia, lethargy and melaena. The cat was hospitalized and received treatment for hypovolemia, various electrolyte abnormalities and severe anaemia with a blood transfusion, intravenous fluids and medications.
