Shape-Preserving and Convergence Properties for the q-Szász-Mirakjan Operators for Fixed q∈(0,1)

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We introduce a q-generalization of Szász-Mirakjan operators Sn,q and discuss their properties for fixed q∈(0,1). We show that the q-Szász-Mirakjan operators Sn,q have good shape-preserving properties.

Generalization of Szász–Mirakjan–Kantorovich operators using multiple Appell polynomials

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2020
The purpose of the present paper is to introduce and study a sequence of positive linear operators defined on suitable spaces of measurable functions on [ 0 , ∞ ) $[0,\infty )$ and continuous function spaces with polynomial weights.

Moment bounds and concentration inequalities for slowly mixing dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We obtain optimal moment bounds for Birkhoff sums, and optimal concentration inequalities, for a large class of slowly mixing dynamical systems, including those that admit anomalous diffusion in the form of a stable law or a central limit theorem with ...

Berry-Esseen theorem and local limit theorem for non uniformly expanding maps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We prove that, in Young towers with sufficiently small tails, the speed in the central limit theorem is O(1/\sqrt{n}), and the local limit theorem holds.

A Survey of Results on the Limit -Bernstein Operator

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The limit -Bernstein operator emerges naturally as a modification of the Szász-Mirakyan operator related to the Euler distribution, which is used in the -boson theory to describe the energy distribution in a -analogue of the coherent state.

Quasistatic dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We introduce the notion of a quasistatic dynamical system, which generalizes that of an ordinary dynamical system. Quasistatic dynamical systems are inspired by the namesake processes in thermodynamics, which are idealized processes where the observed ...

Measurement of the excited-state transverse hyperfine coupling in NV centers via dynamic nuclear polarization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Precise knowledge of a quantum system's Hamiltonian is a critical pre-requisite for its use in many quantum information technologies. Here, we report a method for the precise characterization of the nonsecular part of the excited-state Hamiltonian of an ...

Convergence by Class of Kantorovich-Type q-Szász Operators and Comprehensive Results

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we primarily use Stancu variants of Kantorovich-type operators to investigate the convergence and other associated properties of new Szász–Mirakjan operators.

Approximation on a class of Phillips operators generated by q-analogue

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2020
The main purpose of this article is to introduce a new generalization of q-Phillips operators generated by Dunkl exponential function. We establish some approximation results for these operators. We also determine the order of approximation, and the rate

Approximation by modified Kantorovich–Szász type operators involving Charlier polynomials

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this paper, we give some direct approximation results by modified Kantorovich–Szász type operators involving Charlier polynomials. Further, approximation results are also developed in polynomial weighted spaces.
