Function preserving the wavelets-associated approximation by Szász-type operators in quantum calculus

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
In the present article we obtain the approximation properties of Szász-type operators by use of wavelets in quantum calculus. We construct the Szász-type operators by q-calculus and introduce the Kantrovich variant of this operator by wavelets, then ...

Wavelets‐Associated Approximation to the Family of New Class of q‐Szász Operators Via q‐Analog

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study investigates the approximation properties of a recently developed class of q‐Szász–Mirakjan operators integrated with wavelets. By constructing these q‐Szász‐type operators and introducing their Kantorovich variants, we establish Lp‐approximation results for 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞.

Integral Modification of Lupaş‐Type Operators for Improved Approximation and Reduced Bias

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, we introduce a generalized class of Lupaş‐type operators constructed through an integral modification of the classical formulation. Instead of using discrete point evaluations, the proposed operators are defined by means of weighted local integral averages together with a parameter‐dependent structure.

Weighted Korovkin‐Type Theorem and Some Properties of Szász–Mirakjan Operators Preserving Exponential Functions via Power Series Statistical Convergence

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this article, we establish a weighted Korovkin‐type approximation theorem within the framework of power series statistical convergence and provide a systematic extension of classical Korovkin theory to weighted function spaces. Furthermore, we investigate the approximation properties of the Szász–Mirakjan operators preserving exponential functions ...

A Computational Analysis of Error Bounds for Novel α‐Baskakov–Kantorovich Operators and Graphical Representation

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study introduces a novel family of hybrid Kantorovich‐type operators for the Baskakov–Schurer–Stancu class, integrated with a shape parameter α ∈ [0, 1]. We establish fundamental estimates and evaluate both the rate of convergence and the order of approximation utilizing the Korovkin theorem and the modulus of smoothness.

Numerical solution of fractional Volterra integral equations using Szász-Mirakyan approximation operators

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
In this paper, we employ the Szász-Mirakyan estimation together with the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator to solve both the first and second kinds of fractional Volterra integral equations.

Quantitative Estimates for Positive Linear Operators in terms of the Usual Second Modulus

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2015
We give accurate estimates of the constants Cn(A(I),x) appearing in direct inequalities of the form |Lnf(x)-f(x)|≤Cn(A(I),x)ω2  f;σ(x)/n, f∈A(I), x∈I,  and  n=1,2,…, where Ln is a positive linear operator reproducing linear functions and acting on real ...
