On Extremal Graphs of Weighted Szeged Index
An extension of the well-known Szeged index was introduced recently, named as weighted Szeged index (\(wSz(G)\)). This paper is devoted to characterizing the extremal trees and graphs of this new topological invariant. In particular, we proved that the star is a tree having the maximal \(wSz(G)\).

Revised Szeged Index and Revised Edge Szeged Index of Certain Special Molecular Graphs [PDF]
In theoretical chemistry, the revised Szeged index and revised Szeged edge index were introduced to measure the stability of alkanes and the strain energy of cycloalkanes. In this paper, by virtue of mathematical derivation, we determine the revised Szeged index and revised edge Szeged index of fan molecular graph, wheel molecular graph, gear fan ...

The Szeged Index and Padmakar-Ivan Index on the Zero-Divisor Graph of a Commutative Ring
The zero-divisor graph of a commutative ring is a graph where the vertices represent the zero-divisors of the ring, and two distinct vertices are connected if their product equals zero.

On a relation between Szeged and Wiener indices of bipartite graphs [PDF]
Hansen et. al., using the AutoGraphiX software package, conjectured that the Szeged index Sz(G) and the Wiener index W(G) of a connected bipartite graph G with n ≥ 4 vertices and m ≥ n edges, obeys the relation Sz(G) − W(G) ≥ 4n − 8. Moreover, this bound

Trees with Minimum Weighted Szeged Index Are of a Large Diameter [PDF]
The weighted Szeged index ( w S z ) has gained considerable attention recently because of its unusual mathematical properties. Searching for a tree (or trees) that minimizes the w S z is still going on. Several structural details of a minimal tree were described. Here, it is shown a surprising property that these trees have maximum degree

ABSTRACT Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is characterized by alterations in social understanding and self‐related experience that overlap with broader dimensions of psychosocial vulnerability. These domains are tightly interconnected, motivating the use of analytic approaches that can capture their organization as complex associations rather than as ...

A modular, de novo α/β‐peptide design strategy allows fine‐tuning of ligand properties, resulting in multivalent ligands that simultaneously target separate binding sites on the protein surface. ABSTRACT Protein‐protein interactions that regulate gene expression in the nucleus are increasingly recognized as potential therapeutic targets but present ...
