This paper has reviewed the use of metal–organic frameworks to achieve efficient carbon capture and summarizes the basic theory of computational research. Research on MOFs for carbon capture based on the adsorption principle is discussed. The combination of membrane separation technology with MOFs is discussed.

Objective Despite substantial advances in the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), some patients do not respond to the current state‐of‐the art therapies. This study assessed the tolerability and efficacy of CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells in a small series of seriously ill and treatment‐resistant patients with SLE.

Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Floral traits are assumed to be the main determinants of plant's pollinator spectrum, yet a majority of temperate plant species possess traits allowing to a certain degree of generalisation of their pollinator spectrum.

Signal‐To‐Noise Calculations of Emergence and De‐Emergence of Stratospheric Ozone Depletion
Abstract The year when total column ozone (TCO) returns to 1980 levels is commonly used to quantify recovery from disturbance caused by ozone‐depleting substances. This date is reasonable but somewhat arbitrary. Here we borrow an indicator from climate change research, the signal‐to‐noise (S/N) metric to investigate how TCO might return to ...

Potential Stratospheric Ozone Depletion Due To Iodine Injection From Small Satellites
Abstract We use the 3‐D Whole Atmospheric Community Climate Model to investigate stratospheric ozone depletion due to the launch of small satellites (e.g., CubeSats) with an iodine propulsion system. The model considers the injection of iodine from the satellites into the Earth's thermosphere and suggests a 4‐yr timescale for transport of the emissions

Abstract In view of the limited capacity for public transformers to accept electric vehicles (EVs) and the large cost of putting in new transformers to supply power in the parking lot of urban buildings, a special transformer sharing mode (STSM) is proposed, where charging station operators utilize the special transformers of buildings to supply power ...

Abstract Purpose During World War II, scientific studies were conducted in the Jewish ghetto of Warsaw (Poland). This research, focusing on hunger‐induced disease, was embedded in circumstances of omnipresent hunger and starvation. Ophthalmologist Szymon Fajgenblat (1900–1944) was one of the involved physicians and wrote a manuscript about ...
