Tracking of [14C]Polystyrene Nanoplastics in Pregnant Mice
This study investigates [14C]polystyrene nanoplastic ([14C]PS) translocation in late‐stage pregnant mice after intranasal (0.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD12, GD14, and GD16, n = 6) and intravenous administration (1.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD16, n = 6). 14C‐radiolabel allows quantitative tracking of unmodified polystyrene nanoplastics.

The Importance of Local Variations of Axial Dispersion Coefficients
A variable axial dispersion model was implemented and compared with classical axial dispersion models, highlighting the impact of the local variations and demonstrating its importance when surface reaction mechanisms occur. ABSTRACT A variable axial dispersion model (VADM), accounting for local variations in the axial dispersion coefficient, was ...

Diagnostic Accuracy of Salivary Periodontal Biomarkers Is Reduced in Patients With Crohn's Disease
ABSTRACT Objectives Patients with Crohn's disease (CD) are at increased risk of developing periodontal disease and may benefit from salivary biomarker–based monitoring for early detection and management. Given the previously reported reduced specificity of the salivary aMMP‐8 test in CD, this study aimed to evaluate alternative salivary biomarkers for ...
