A note on moderate growth of t-conorms
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2001Given a t-conorm \(S\) on [0,1], \(S\) is said to exhibit moderate growth if for all \( a> b \) we have \[ S(v,a) - S(v,b) \geq S(u,a) - S(u,v), \tag{1} \] whenever \( u > v \). Using results of C. Kimberling, R. Moynihan and A. Sklar, the author explains the relation between moderate growth an copulas, i.e., \(S\) is continuous and satisfies (1) if ...

Choosing t-Norms and t-Conorms for Fuzzy Controllers
Fourth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD 2007), 2007The choice of t-norms and the dual t-conorms should, in principle, play a key role in the operation of a fuzzy control system, particularly the output of the system. The t-norms are expressed differently and appear to have different properties. We show analytically, using a zero-order Takagi-Sugeno controller the regions where the choice of a t-norm is

t-Norms, t-Conorms and Negations
1996In what follows we shall give an extensive study of different binary and unary operations on the unit interval which will give rise to new operations on fuzzy sets. A common denominator in the operations on fuzzy sets which we defined in Sections 2.2 and 2.3 is that they all are “pointwise extensions”.

GENERALIZING T-CONORMS TO FACE SATURATION IN MAMDANI FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEMS
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2007Fuzzy aggregation is the way in which different contributions to the same fuzzy fact are merged together to obtain a possibility distribution representative of the acquired knowledge. The choice of the aggregation function is a fundamental step in the definition of inference framework.

Combinations of L-Complex Fuzzy t-Norms and t-Conorms
Proceeding of 3rd International Conference of Mathematics and its Applications, 2020This paper investigates the study of L-complex fuzzy sets. The L-complex fuzzy set, where L is a completely distributive lattice, is a generalization of the complex fuzzy set. The fundamental set theoretic operations on L-complex fuzzy sets are discussed properly, including L-complex fuzzy complement, union and intersection.
