Interpolação por splines cúbicos paramétricos no Maple para a segmentação do contorno do ventrículo esquerdo humano

open access: yesREMAT, 2016

Isogeometric treatment of large deformation contact and debonding problems with T-splines: a review

open access: yesCurved and Layered Structures, 2015
Within a setting where the isogeometric analysis (IGA) has been successful at bringing two different research fields together, i.e. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and numerical analysis, T-spline IGA is applied in this work to frictionless contact and mode ...

Comparison Between T-Spline Surface and NURBS Surface [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2015
This research uses T-spline for surface modeling and compares it with NURBS modeling to get the best modeling points between the two methods. The comparison will be through surface analysis and manufacturing process.T-Splines surfaces typically have 50 ...

Unified Representation of Curves and Surfaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
In conventional modeling, shared control points can be employed to realize a unified representation for an object consisting of only curves or only surfaces touching one another.

Multivariate Analysis-Suitable T-Splines of Arbitrary Degree

open access: yesComputational Methods in Applied Mathematics, 2023
Abstract This paper defines analysis-suitable T-splines for arbitrary degree (including even and mixed degrees) and arbitrary dimension. We generalize the concept of anchor elements known from the two-dimensional setting, extend existing concepts of analysis-suitability and show their sufficiency for linearly independent T-splines.

Automatic Generation of T-Splines with Extraordinary Points Based on Domain Decomposition of Quadrilateral Patches

open access: yesMathematics
Isogeometric analysis (IGA) is a numerical methodology for solving differential equations by employing basis functions that preserve the exact geometry of the domain. This approach is based on a class of mathematical functions known as NURBS (Non-Uniform

Five-Axis Tool Path Generation of Injection Mold Represented by T-Spline Surface

open access: yesAdvances in Polymer Technology, 2020
Injection molding is widely used in industries to produce polymeric products. At present, compound NURBS surfaces are commonly used to represent freeform surfaces in mold models.

Niche partitioning as a mechanism for locally high species diversity within a geographically limited genus of blastoid. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
Deltoblastus batheri and Deltoblastus delta occur concurrently in many Permian deposits from Timor. Closely related sister species living in direct proximity without alteration in feeding habit would be in direct violation of Lotka-Volterra dynamics ...

Adaptive refinement for unstructured T-splines with linear complexity

open access: yesComputer Aided Geometric Design, 2022
We present an adaptive refinement algorithm for T-splines on unstructured 2D meshes. While for structured 2D meshes, one can refine elements alternatingly in horizontal and vertical direction, such an approach cannot be generalized directly to unstructured meshes, where no two unique global mesh directions can be assigned.

Transfinite Patches for Isogeometric Analysis

open access: yesMathematics
This paper extends the well-known transfinite interpolation formula, which was developed in the late 1960s by the applied mathematician William Gordon at the premises of General Motors as an extension of the pre-existing Coons interpolation formula. Here,
