ИЗМЕНЧИВОСТЬ РЕЗУЛЬТАТОВ ПОЛУЧЕНИЯ ПЕНТАПЛОИДНЫХ ГИБРИДОВ ПШЕНИЦЫ

open access: yesActa Biologica Sibirica, 2015
Представлены результаты получения пентаплоидных гибридов от скрещивания мягкой пшеницы с иммунными интрогрессивными линиями T. durum, производными отдаленных скрещиваний. Показано, что скрещиваемость видов высока и достигает 71,5%.

Identifying novel sources of resistance to wheat stem sawfly in five wild wheat species

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 80, Issue 6, Page 2976-2990, June 2024.
The study explored wild wheat relatives for enhanced resistance to wheat stem sawfly (WSS). Novel findings highlight germplasm potential for breeding. Antixenosis and antibiosis responses to WSS were assessed across 91 accessions, revealing Aegilops tauschii, Triticum turgidum, and T. urartu as potential sources of resistance.

The synaptic behaviour of the wild forms ofTriticum turgidumandT. timopheevii

open access: yes, 2001
Different wild allopolyploid species of Triticeae show extensive bivalent formation at zygotene while a considerable number of multivalents is present in cultivated polyploid wheats. To study the chromosome behaviour at early meiotic stages in wild forms

Chromosomal Behavior during Meiosis in the Progeny of Triticum timopheevii × Hexaploid Wild Oat.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
The meiotic behavior of pollen mother cells (PMCs) of the F2 and F3 progeny from Triticum timopheevii × hexaploid wild oat was investigated by cytological analysis and sequential C-banding-genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) in the present study.

Specificity of combinations of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of glucovine in genotypes of allocytoplasmatic spruce wheat with allel of wild type Wx-B1a

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Agronomy and Animal Industries, 2018
As a result of screening of the allelic composition of genes associated with baking properties, a significant genotypic variety of forms of allocytoplasmic spring wheat (ATSGG) from the ATI PFUR collection was established.

The transfer of leaf rust resistance from Triticum timopheevii to durum and bread wheat and the location of one gene on chromosome 1A

open access: yes, 1998
Triticum timopheevii (Zhuk.) Zhuk. is noted for its resistance to diseases including leaf and stem rust of wheat. Only one gene (Lr18) for leaf rust resistance has been transferred from T. timopheevii to bread wheat.

The Independent Domestication of Timopheev’s Wheat: Insights from Haplotype Analysis of the Brittle rachis 1 (BTR1-A) Gene

open access: yes, 2021
Triticum turgidum and T. timopheevii are two tetraploid wheat species sharing T. urartu as a common ancestor, and domesticated accessions from both of these allopolyploids exhibit nonbrittle rachis (i.e., nonshattering spikes).

The development of introgression lines of Triticum timopheevii in a cultivated wheat background and their characterisation [PDF]

open access: yes
Achieving a sustainable supply of food in the face of the rise in the global population and climate change is a major challenge for plant breeders. Crop improvement through breeding is only possible where genetic variation is present in the breeder’s ...

EFFECT OF ALIEN GENOMIC INTROGRESSIONS ON THE OSMOTIC TOLERANCE OF WHEAT

open access: yesВавиловский журнал генетики и селекции, 2015
Drought is one of the major environmental factors that limit crop growth and yield. Development of new wheat genotypes carrying introgressions from other cereal species is widely applied to improve the complex stability of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum ...
