The Brown Dwarf Kinematics Project (BDKP). V. Radial and Rotational Velocities of T Dwarfs from Keck/NIRSPEC High-resolution Spectroscopy [PDF]
We report multiepoch radial velocities, rotational velocities, and atmospheric parameters for 37 T-type brown dwarfs observed with Keck/NIRSPEC. Using a Markov Chain Monte Carlo forward-modeling method, we achieve median precisions of 0.5 and 0.9 km s−1 ...

Uniform Forward-modeling Analysis of Ultracool Dwarfs. II. Atmospheric Properties of 55 Late-T Dwarfs [PDF]
We present a large uniform forward-modeling analysis for 55 late-T (T7–T9) dwarfs, using low-resolution (R ≈ 50–250) near-infrared (1.0–2.5 μm) spectra and cloudless Sonora–Bobcat model atmospheres.

Toward Spectral Classification of L and T Dwarfs: Infrared and Optical Spectroscopy and Analysis [PDF]
We present 0.6-2.5 μm, R ≳ 400 spectra of 27 cool, low-luminosity stars and substellar objects. Based on these and previously published spectra, we develop a preliminary spectral classification system for L and T dwarfs.

Characterization of M, L, and T Dwarfs in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey [PDF]
An extensive sample of M, L, and T dwarfs identified in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) has been compiled. The sample of 718 dwarfs includes 677 new objects (629 M dwarfs and 48 L dwarfs), together with 41 that have been previously published. All new

We present three new brown dwarf spectral-binary candidates: CWISE J072708.09−360729.2, CWISE J103604.84−514424.4, and CWISE J134446.62−732053.9, discovered by citizen scientists through the Backyard Worlds: Planet 9 project.

Brown Dwarf Companions to White Dwarfs [PDF]
Brown dwarf companions to white dwarfs are rare, but recent infra-red surveys are slowly reveal- ing examples. We present new observations of the post-common envelope binary WD0137-349, which reveals the effects of irradiation on the ~ 0.05M* secondary, and new observations of GD 1400 which show that it too is a close, post-comon envelope system.

Photometry and Proper Motions of M, L, and T Dwarfs from the Pan-STARRS1 3π Survey [PDF]
We present a catalog of 9888 M, L and T dwarfs detected in the Pan-STARRS1 3π Survey (PS1), covering three-quarters of the sky. Our catalog contains nearly all known objects of spectral types L0–T2 in the PS1 field, with objects as early as M0 and as ...

New Y and T Dwarfs from WISE Identified by Methane Imaging [PDF]
We identify new Y- and T-type brown dwarfs from the WISE All Sky data release using images obtained in filters that divide the traditional near-infrared H and J bands into two halves—specifically and CH4l in the H and J2, and J3 in the J.

Surface Gravities for 228 M, L, and T Dwarfs in the NIRSPEC Brown Dwarf Spectroscopic Survey [PDF]
We combine 131 new medium-resolution (R ∼ 2000) J-band spectra of M, L, and T dwarfs from the Keck NIRSPEC Brown Dwarf Spectroscopic Survey (BDSS) with 97 previously published BDSS spectra to study surface-gravity-sensitive indices for 228 low-mass stars
