Next Generation of Adoptive T Cell Therapy Using CRISPR/Cas9 Technology: Universal or Boosted?

2020
Adoptive T cell therapy (ACT) using either chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)- or T cell receptor (TCR)-engineered lymphocytes has emerged as a promising strategy to treat cancer. However, this therapy is still facing enormous challenges such as poor quality of autologous T cells, T cell exhaustion, and the immune suppressive tumor microenvironments ...

Neutron Energy Mapping for Two Different D-T Generator Technologies with a Diamond Detector

2018 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference Proceedings (NSS/MIC), 2018
Fast neutron detectors based on high purity single crystal diamonds can have very good energy resolution. With the 12C(n,α)9Be reaction, the reaction products usually stay within the diamond, the reaction energy is fully converted to charges and produce a full energy peak on the pulse height histogram.

Evaluating overall national science and technology activity: General Indicator of Science and Technology (GIST) and its implications for S&T policy

Research Evaluation, 1996
A method for overall evaluation of national S&T activities using a large number of quantitative indicators is proposed. Multivariate analysis was used to analyse the structure of a set of 14 S&T indicators in the USA, Japan, Germany, France and the UK.

Abstract 1524: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells engineered via microfluidic Cell Squeeze® technology to generate APCs that drive mutant-KRas-specific CD8+ T cell responses

Cancer Research, 2021
Abstract KRAS mutations are shared across multiple cancer types and are most commonly found in cancers of the lung, pancreas, and colon. While recently developed drugs blocking signaling driven by KRAS G12C mutations have shown promise in the clinic, there is a great need for therapies targeting the more common G12V and G12D mutations ...

Laser Diode Current Driver With $(1-t/T)^{-1}$ Time Dependence in 0.35- $\mu\text{m}$ BiCMOS Technology for Quantum Random Number Generators

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2017
A laser diode current driver with $(1-t/T)^{-1}$ time dependence in 0.35- $\mu\text{m}$ BiCMOS technology is presented in this brief. It is intended for application in optical quantum random number generators. The current driver is based on the balanced type of a bipolar junction transistor translinear loop with a sawtooth current as one of ...
