Table Oriented Metrics for Relational Databases
Software Quality Journal, 2001Developing and selecting high quality software applications are fundamental. It is important that the software applications can be evaluated for every relevant quality characteristic using validated metrics. Software engineers have been putting forward hundreds of quality metrics for software programs, disregarding databases.

A table oriented database-prolog system
Microprocessing and Microprogramming, 1989Abstract A system which tightly integrates Prolog and relational database is presented. In our approach, a new data object “table” is extended to Prolog. Any data object may be defined as an element in a Prolog's table. So a set of clauses may be described in a table rather than in Horn clauses.

Creating Databases Using Tables
2011Packed with more than 16,000 columns and more than 1 million rows, each Excel worksheet has enough space to contain serious amounts of data—so it’s great for creating a database to store information and quickly find the items you need.

Multiple-Row Database Table Maintenance
2020Many modern Web applications require pages that maintain database table data. Such table maintenance implies the addition of new rows of table data and the modification and deletion of existing rows of table data. Although it is sometimes appropriate to display a single row of data when maintaining table data, there are other times when it is better to

Image databases and near-perfect hash table
Pattern Recognition, 1997Abstract The 2D-string is one of the important data structures to represent spatial information in images and has been used to perform queries in image database systems. A 2D string can be readily converted to a set of triples which can be used to generate a perfect hash table for indexing the image database.

Managing Multiple Database Tables
2010The previous chapter showed you how to use INNER JOIN and LEFT JOIN to retrieve information stored in multiple tables. You also learned how to link existing tables by adding an extra column to the child table and updating each record individually to insert a foreign key.

Single-Row Database Table Maintenance
2020Many modern Web applications require pages that maintain database table data. Such table maintenance implies the addition of new rows of table data and the modification and deletion of existing rows of table data. Although it is sometimes appropriate to display several rows of data simultaneously when maintaining table data, there are other times when ...
