Cloning and expression of human salivary-gland kallikrein in Escherichia coli.
CDNA clones for human kallikrein have been identified in a cDNA library constructed from mRNA of human salivary gland. The entire coding sequence for preprokallikrein and for the 5'- and 3'-untranslated regions were isolated by using a mixture of ...

Oct4‐nanoscript, a biomimetic nanoparticle‐based artificial transcription factor, precisely regulates cellular rejuvenation by activating Oct4 target genes, restoring epigenetic marks, and reducing DNA damage. In a progeria model, it effectively rescued aging‐associated pathologies and extended lifespan.

Liquid Crystalline Networks Hamper the Malignancy of Cancer Cells
Liquid Crystalline Networks are used as scaffolds for the growth of A375 melanoma cells demonstrating to affect their malignancy. Indeed, only by contact, these materials reduces cell proliferation and colony formation capacity, while increasing the number of senescent cells and promoting the mesenchymal to epithelial transition.
