Output from the South African Hake OMP-2018 for the 2021 TAC recommendation
The TAC output from the South African hake OMP-2018 for 2021 is 139 109 t, a decrease of 5% from the 2020 TAC. This decrease is mainly a result of reduced commercial catch rates on the west coast in recent years, as well as the low survey abundance estimate from the most recent 2019 south coast survey.

CK2α Deficiency Drives Myocardial Fibrosis via Desmin‐Induced Mitochondrial Dysfunction
CK2α preserves mitochondrial homeostasis by phosphorylating Desmin to recruit Cryab, ensuring proper filament assembly. CK2α deficiency disrupts this interaction, causing mitochondrial dysfunction, metabolic shifts, bioenergetic failure, and oxidative stress—ultimately establishing a pro‐fibrotic environment that drives cardiac fibrosis.

Full androgen deprivation (FAD) induces paracrine cholesterol in prostate cancer that drives the polarization of cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and subsequent elevated matrix stiffness. Matrix stiffness in turn potentiates tumor cell survival under FAD pressure via dual mechanotransductive activation of the IRE1α‐XBP1s stress‐response axis ...

Majority‐Voting Overlapping Method for Error Correction in DNA Data Storage
We propose an overlapping‐based majority‐voting method for DNA data storage error correction. By aligning multiple reads and choosing the most frequent base per position, it suppresses substitution errors without prior models. Validated on synthetic and real sequencing data, it achieves high‐fidelity, scalable, and cost‐effective reconstruction ...

Recommendations on rock lobster TACs for the Tristan group of islands for the 2020/211 season
OMPs are the agreed basis to recommend rock lobster TACs for all four islands of the Tristan da Cunha Group. The application of these OMPs using the most recent CPUE and survey data for input result in the following TACs.The OMP for Tristan recommends the TAC for 2020 at 120 MT (2019 TAC 120 MT).The OMP for Nightingale recommends the TAC for 2020 at 89

Inspired by the multi‐tissue architecture of the human fingertip dermis (A), this work introduces a mixture design using three PolyJet materials (AC/TM/GM) to expand the achievable elastomer property space (B). An inverse design pipeline (i‐Tac) is developed to map target optical/mechanical requirements to optimal material compositions (C), enabling ...

Recommendations on rock lobster TACs for Gough and Inaccessible islands for the 2021/22 season
OMPs are the agreed basis to recommend rock lobster TACs for all four islands of the Tristan da Cunha Group. The application of these OMPs using the most recent CPUE and survey data for input result in the following TAC recommendations for Gough and Inaccessible. The new OMP-2021 for Gough recommends a TAC for 2021 at 100 MT + 5 MT rollover (2020 TAC ...
