Decremental conduction property in the slow conduction zone of adenosine‐sensitive atrial tachycardia

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 40, Issue 5, Page 1202-1205, October 2024.
In the case of adenosine‐sensitive atrial tachycardia originating near the atrioventricular (AV) node, overdrive pacing from the anterior right atrium showed constant and progressive fusion, indicating that the pacing site is proximal to slow conduction.

Radiofrequency catheter ablation reduces the severity of anxiety in patients with atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia, regardless of age, sex, tachycardia type, and laboratory findings

open access: yesMedicine Science
Assess pre and postinterventional anxiety levels in radiofrequency catheter ablation recipients (RFCA) for atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) and investigate whether changes are associated with demographic and clinical characteristics and

Computational modelling of mouse atrio ventricular node action potential and automaticity

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, Volume 602, Issue 19, Page 4821-4847, 1 October 2024.
Abstract figure legend The abstract figure illustrates the process of creating and validating a new numerical model for a single atrioventricular node (AVN) cell. The steps are as follows: (1) cells from the AVN were isolated from the mice hearts; (2) they underwent patch‐clamp experiments to measure the L‐type calcium current (ICav1.3); (3 ...

Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation Of Atrioventricular Nodal Reentry Tachycardia In A Patient With Inferior Vena Cava Anomaly

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2009
Curative radiofrequency catheter modification of the slow pathway is the recommended therapy for patients suffering from recurrent symptomatic atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia.

Identification of potential candidate genes and pathways in atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia by whole‐exome sequencing

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, 2020
Background Atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) is the most common manifestation of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT). Increasing data have indicated familial clustering and participation of genetic factors in AVNRT, and no ...

Pseudo cryomapping for ablation of atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia: A single center North American experience

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2017
Background: Most literature for cryoablation of atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) is based on −30 degree celsius cryomapping with 4 & 6 mm distal electrode catheters.

AV Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia Causing Inappropriate ICD Shocks In A Patient With Arrhythmogenic RV Dysplasia

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2009
We report a patient with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) for arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD) who received inappropriate shocks for atrioventricular node reentry tachycardia (AVRNT).

Late Occurrence of Transient Advanced Second Degree Atrioventricular Block after Successful Transcatheter Cryoablation of Atrioventricular Nodal Reentry Tachycardia

open access: yesCase Reports in Cardiology, 2012
Late occurrence of atrioventricular nodal block is an extremely rare occurrence after radiofrequency catheter modification of the slow pathway and has yet to be reported after cryoablation.

AV nodal reentrant tachycardia with a 2:1 right bundle branch block missed as bidirectional ventricular tachycardia in the first superficial evaluation

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Internal Medicine, 2017
A 95-year old woman was admitted to our emergency unit because of acute abdominal pain. After urgent surgery according to the acute abdomen, she was referred to intensive care unit (ICU) of the emergency unit as she was intubated.
