Stokes–Adams Syncope and Ventricular Standstill
Stokes–Adams syncope has various etiologies including atrioventricular conduction delays, ischemia, or vagal mechanisms. Careful EKG analysis including serial EKGs, may help identify contributory mechanisms to the etiology of syncope, even after permanent pacemaker implantation.
