This review aims to highlight the benefits of biopolymer‐based conductive hydrogels as soft bioelectronics for biointerface applications. Biopolymers deliver biocompatibility, commercial availability, low cost, and sustainability, whereas conjugated polymers provide electronic conductivity.

This study pioneers the fabrication of electroconductive cardiac scaffolds using pressurised gyration with the conductive polymers PPy and PEDOT:PSS. The resulting scaffolds exhibit optimal electroconductive and physicochemical properties, closely matching those of native cardiac tissue.

Mesenteric haemorrhage in a dog induced by suspected Angiostrongylus vasorum larval migration: Surgical and medical management of vascular rupture

Abstract A 21‐month‐old, male poodle was referred for evaluation of acute lethargy, anorexia and hypovolaemic shock. Initial diagnostic work‐up revealed severe regenerative anaemia, thrombocytopenia and leukocytosis. Abdominal ultrasonography identified free fluid and a suspected mass, with haemoperitoneum confirmed via abdominocentesis.

During surgery, sterile saline was instilled on three occasions in order to locate the damaged lung tissue and ensure complete ligation.
