Disopyramide in Ventricular Tachycardia
Acta Medica Scandinavica, 1976ABSTRACT. Administration of disopyramide phosphate (DE) i.v. in two doses, 30 min apart, to a patient with ventricular tachycardia was accompanied by no, or only slight, changes in systemic arterial pressure (SAP), cardiac output (Q), stroke work (SW), and pulmonary artery diastolic pressure (PADP). Heart rate fell from 123 to 103/min.

Multiform Ventricular Tachycardia
Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, 1980Electrophysiological studies were performed in three patients with chronic recurrent ventricular tachycardia (VT) associated with coronary artery disease. In each case the ventricular origin of the tachycardia was confirmed and induction of tachycardia by programmed stimulation suggested a re‐entry mechanism.

Therapy of ventricular tachycardia
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1984Therapeutic modalities for ventricular tachycardia include antiarrhythmic drugs, direct current cardioversion, electrical pacing and surgical intervention. Lidocaine, procainamide and bretylium are all capable of controlling recurrent ventricular tachycardia; bretylium has the advantage of also being antifibrillatory and of raising the threshold for ...
