MILLING PROCESS PARAMETERS AND TAGUCHI METHOD
To safeguard the quality of the products machined at the least costs along with the greatest amount of efficiency during machining, the selection of the ideal parameters is very necessary. Usually the working of an experienced operator is very necessary for the selection of an ideal cutting condition for the metal.

Collocation Instruction: Second and Foreign Language Teachers’ Beliefs, Knowledge, and Practices
ABSTRACT Collocational knowledge and competence are essential for effective foreign language (FL) and second language (L2) learning. Since teachers' conceptualizations shape their instructional practices, understanding their perceptions of collocations and their instruction is crucial.

An application of taguchi's methods reconsidered [PDF]
Two aspects of Taguchi's methods for analyzing parameter design experiments that can be improved upon are considered. It is shown how using interaction graphs instead of marginal graphs, and how using the sample variance instead of a signal-to-noise ratio, can lead to product designs that are more robust to variation.

The effects of lapping load in finishing advanced ceramic balls on a novel eccentric lapping machine [PDF]
HIPed (Hot Isostatically Pressed) silicon nitride ball blanks were lapped from diameter 13.255 mm to diameter 12.7 mm by a novel eccentric lapping machine. A maximum material removal rate of 68 μm/hour has been achieved under a nominal lapping load of 43
