On January 25th, 2011 people in Egypt started to demonstrate for a reform of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces. These nation-wide demonstrations quickly turned into a call for an overall political reform, which came to be known as the Egyptian “revolution” as part of the “Arab spring”.
