All‐Aqueous Pullulan Fibers Enabling Visible‐to‐Near‐Infrared Waveguiding with Mechanical and Thermal Resilience

Pullulan, a biomass‐derived polysaccharide, is transformed into transparent optical fibers using a solvent‐free borax hydrogel‐spinning method. The fibers outperform PMMA with ≈200 MPa tensile strength and 200 °C stability, while uniquely guiding visible‐to‐NIR light and enabling additive‐free humidity sensing.

PRELIVE: A Framework for Predicting Lipid Nanoparticles In Vivo Efficacy and Reducing Reliance on Animal Testing

PREdicting LNP In Vivo Efficacy (PRELIVE) framework enables the prediction of lipid nanoparticle (LNPs) organ‐specific delivery through dual modeling approaches. Composition‐based models using formulation parameters and protein corona‐based models using biological fingerprints both achieve high predictive accuracy across multiple organs.

An Ultrafast Self‐Gelling Versatile Hydrogel for Rapid Infected Burn Wound Repair in Military Medicine

New stochastic comparisons based on tail values at risk

In this paper we provide a new criterion for the comparison of claims, when we have conditional claims arising in stop loss contracts or contracts with franchise deductible. These stochastic comparisons are made on the basis of the Tail Value at Risk (also known as conditional tail expectation), just for a fixed level and beyond.

Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance
