Abstract This manuscript presents a conceptual model—the Sexual Health and Integrative Pleasure (SHIP) Model—for the clinical assessment and intervention of sexual health concerns. The model was developed by a group of couple/marital family therapy and psychologists who specialize in the treatment of sexual problems.

ACE-mediated Glycosylation Stabilizes PSAP To Promote GPR37-dependent Macrophage-Nucleus Pulposus Cells Crosstalk and TGFβ Signaling in Alleviating Intervertebral Disc Degeneration. [PDF]
ACE can modulate the CBL‐mediated K48 ubiquitination degradation of PSAP by altering its glycosylation levels in NP cells. As a result, NP cells secrete PSAP, which interacts with GPR37 on macrophage surfaces, facilitating their polarization toward the M2 phenotype. These M2 macrophages subsequently secrete TGFβ, which exerts feedback effects on the NP

This study is the first systematic evaluation of functional connectivity of basal ganglia motor and non‐motor territories in CRPS. In CRPS, there is increased ISOs and resting functional connectivity in motor but not in non‐motor basal ganglia territories (except caudate body functional connectivity) compared to controls. Abstract Complex regional pain

Advances in single‐cell sequencing and its application to musculoskeletal system research
Single cell sequencing (SCS) technologies have superior abilities to analyze cell heterogeneity at a single‐cell level, which have elevated omics research to a higher level. Meanwhile, the applications of SCS have enabled many valuable discoveries, and musculoskeletal system offers typical examples.

Background and Objective. Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is closely related to back pain. Finding biomarkers of IDD is very helpful for maintaining the function of the intervertebral disc and reducing the occurrence of back pain. This study is to explore the biomarkers in IDD and to explore the role of immune cell infiltration in IDD.

Objective. Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) contributes to cervical and lumbar diseases. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are implicated in IDD. This study explored the mechanism of lncRNA HOTAIR in IDD. Methods. Normal and degenerative nucleus pulposus (NP) cells were isolated from NP tissues obtained in intervertebral disc surgery. Cell morphology

The mini-open procedure with a modified figure of eight for managing sacrococcygeal fracture-dislocation: A case report and literature review. [PDF]
Introduction and importance: A fracture associated with an anteriorly displaced fragment may induce soft tissue disintegration. However, this might be avoided by maintaining the stability of the sacrococcygeal bone.
