The Tail of the Telomere [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2008
The structure of a higher-order G-quadruplex structure for human telomeric DNA is presented. The structure was determined by a novel integrated approach in which molecular dynamics simulations were used to produce a stable structure, from which specific experimentally accessible properties were predicted.

Tracking the tail [PDF]

open access: yesJournal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer, 2020
Immune-checkpoint inhibitors have deeply changed the therapeutic landscape of advanced non-small cell lung cancer without actionable genomic alterations. Immune-checkpoint inhibitors have become standard front-line therapy, especially among patients with tumours expressing high levels of programmed death ligand-1; yet, many patients do not respond to ...

Tales of Tails [PDF]

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
Typical human-scaled considerations of thermodynamic states depend primarily on the core of associated speed or other relevant distributions, because the wings of those distributions are so improbable that they cannot contribute significantly to averages. However, for long timescale regimes (slow time), previous papers have shown otherwise. Fluctuating

Morphogenesis of the T4 tail and tail fibers [PDF]

open access: yesVirology Journal, 2010
Remarkable progress has been made during the past ten years in elucidating the structure of the bacteriophage T4 tail by a combination of three-dimensional image reconstruction from electron micrographs and X-ray crystallography of the components. Partial and complete structures of nine out of twenty tail structural proteins have been determined by X ...

Crystal structure and heat capacity study of (C12H25NH3)2CoCl4(s) phase change material

open access: yesChemical Thermodynamics and Thermal Analysis, 2021
Crystal structure of a novel complex (C12H25NH3)2CoCl4(s) has been determined by X-ray crystallography. Crystal system of the compound is monoclinic, and space group is P2(1)/c. Unit cell dimensions are a = (0.73492 ± 0.00010) nm, b = (1.02115 ± 0.00013)

Study of the occurrence law of iron in different types of sorting tailings of Anshan-type low-grade hematite

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2021
Anshan-type low-grade hematite ore is one of the most important types of iron ore in China. It is usually separated by a combined process of gravity concentration-magnetic separation-reverse flotation.
