Revista Peruana de Biología, 2011 Se registra por primera vez para el Perú al Crinoideo (Echinodermata) Florometra magellanica (Bell, 1882). La especie fue recolectada en el talud continental (360 – 814 m) frente al departamento de Piura al norte del Perú (3°38,67’S, 81° 2,73’W).
