The tangent splash in $\PG(6,q)$ [PDF]
Let B be a subplane of PG(2,q^3) of order q that is tangent to $\ell_\infty$. Then the tangent splash of B is defined to be the set of q^2+1 points of $\ell_\infty$ that lie on a line of B.

Parallel 3D Bioprinting on SLIPS‐Microarrays
This work introduces the first truly parallel 3D bioprinting method, enabling both the simultaneous fabrication of hundreds of cell laden hydrogel 3D structures and their HTS in individual liquid compartments. By integrating Digital Light Processing (DLP) stereolithography with functional micropatterns, the platform decouples printing time from array ...

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Universal dielectric loss in amorphous solids from simultaneous bias and microwave field
We derive the ac dielectric loss in glasses due to resonant processes created by two-level systems and a swept electric field bias. It is shown that at sufficiently large ac fields and bias sweep rates the nonequilibrium loss tangent created by the two ...

Tangent modulus method based on in-situ pressuremeter tests and its preliminary validation
The tangent modulus method is a method which is based on the plate loading tests to obtain the tangent modulus of the soil under different load levels, and uses the tangent modulus into the layer-wise summation method for calculating foundation ...

Embedded minimal and constant mean curvature annulus touching spheres [PDF]
We show that a compact embedded minimal or constant mean curvature annulus with non-vanishing Gaussian curvature which is tangent to two spheres of same radius or tangent to a sphere and meeting a plane in constant contact angle is rotational.Comment: 10
