New tangent structures for Lie algebroids and Lie groupoids
The tangent bundle on a smooth manifold is, in a sense, sufficient structure for Lagrangian mechanics. In a famous note from 1901, Poincare reformulated Lagrangian mechanics by replacing the tangent bundle with a Lie algebra acting on a smooth manifold [

Backbone‐Length‐Optimized Inhibitors Deliver Long‐Retention Selectivity in Area‐Selective ALD of VO2
Area‐selective VO2 ALD is found to depend critically on inhibitor backbone length, which governs physisorption, chemisorption stability, and packing efficiency in a coupled manner. An intermediate backbone‐length achieves the best long‐retention selectivity, establishing a chemically and geometrically grounded design principle for small‐molecule ...

A Data‐Driven Inverse Design Methodology for Magnetic Soft Millirobots Navigating in Confined Spaces
A data‐efficient inverse design framework automates the optimization of magnetic soft millirobots for confined‐space navigation. Integrating a physics‐based Cosserat rod model with Bayesian optimization efficiently identifies high‐performance geometries.

Tangent spaces and tangent bundles for diffeological spaces
We study how the notion of tangent space can be extended from smooth manifolds to diffeological spaces, which are generalizations of smooth manifolds that include singular spaces and infinite-dimensional spaces. We focus on two definitions. The internal tangent space of a diffeological space is defined using smooth curves into the space, and the ...

A non‐canonical core transcriptional regulatory circuit, composed of ID3, SMAD3, and NR2F2, drives Osimertinib resistance in non‐small cell lung cancer through super‐enhancer‐mediated activation of EPAS1, which couples neuroendocrine differentiation with ferroptosis evasion.

Field‐Frustrated Cooperative Distortions: Suppressing Jahn‐Teller Ordering via Microwave Annealing
Microwave annealing decouples local Jahn‐Teller distortions from long‐range cooperative ordering in CuFe2O4, stabilizing a metastable cubic phase that remains locally distorted yet globally symmetry‐frustrated. Synchrotron XRD, PDF, XPS, and in situ thermal cycling reveal how non‐equilibrium MW‐phonon interactions suppress cooperative orbital‐lattice ...

Some results on riemannian g-natural metrics generated by classical lifts on the tangent bundle
Let (M; g) be an n-dimensional Riemannian manifold and TM its tangent bundle equipped with Riemannian g-natural metrics which are linear combinations of the three classical lifts of the base metric with constant coecients.

Multiplication on the tangent bundle
Manifolds with a commutative and associative multiplication on the tangent bundle are called F-manifolds if a unit field exists and the multiplication satisfies a natural integrability condition. They are studied here. They are closely related to discriminants and Lagrange maps. Frobenius manifolds are F-manifolds.

Fano 4-folds with nef tangent bundle in positive characteristic
application/pdfIn characteristic 0, the Campana-Peternell conjecture claims that the only smooth Fano variety with nef tangent bundle should be homogeneous.
