Peristaltic transport of tangent hyperbolic fluid with variable viscosity

Thermal Science and Engineering Progress, 2018
Abstract This investigation examines the influence of variable viscosity on peristaltic transport of tangent hyperbolic fluid with heat and mass transfer. Viscous dissipation and Joule heating have been taken. Temperature dependent viscosity is considered. An electrically conducting fluid is taken in symmetric inclined channel.

Nonlinear mixed convection flow of a tangent hyperbolic fluid with activation energy

Heat Transfer, 2020
AbstractIn this communication, the dynamics of a non‐Newtonian tangent hyperbolic fluid with nanoparticles past a nonuniformly thickened stretching surface is discussed. We examine the impact of nonlinear mixed convection flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid with the Cattaneo‐Christov heat and mass diffusion model past a bidirectional stretching surface.

Peristaltic flow of a Tangent hyperbolic fluid in an inclined asymmetric channel with slip and heat transfer

Progress in Computational Fluid Dynamics, 2012
The peristaltic flow of a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Tangent hyperbolic fluid in an inclined asymmetric channel is investigated. The governing equations for the proposed fluid model are derived in Cartesian coordinates system. Simultaneous effects of slip and heat transfer have been taken into account for the present analysis.

Simulation of heat and mass transfer on peristaltic flow of hyperbolic tangent fluid in an asymmetric channel

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, 2012
SUMMARYIn the present analysis, the influence of heat and mass transfer on the peristaltic flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid in an asymmetric channel has been discussed. The highly nonlinear equations are simplified under lubrication approach. The perturbation and numerical solutions of the problem are not only discussed but the validity of the ...

Squeezed MHD tangent hyperbolic fluid flow across a sensor surface

Heat Transfer, 2022
AbstractIn the present numerical study, the combined effect of temperature‐dependent thermal conductivity, linear thermal radiation, and magnetic effect on shear‐thinning tangent hyperbolic fluid past a sensor surface has been studied. After converting the modelled partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations by using similarity ...

Triple diffusion of species in fluid regime using tangent hyperbolic rheology

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2020
This study discusses double diffusion of nanoparticles and solute presuming the impacts of diffusion thermo and thermal diffusion numerically by adapting finite element method. Complex models are solved in order to examine the role of Soret and Dufour parameters on the double diffusion mechanism.

On the Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Peristaltic Flow of a Hyperbolic Tangent Fluid in a Tapered Asymmetric Channel

Journal of Nanofluids, 2022
We have considered the peristaltic mechanism of incompressible viscous hyperbolic tangent fluid with the impact of uniform magnetic field. The tapered asymmetric channel is assumed to be designed due to a peristaltic wave train on the non uniform walls taking different amplitudes and phase.

Magnetohydrodynamic peristaltic flow of unsteady tangent‐hyperbolic fluid in an asymmetric channel

Heat Transfer, 2020
AbstractThe aim of the present numerical investigation is to explore the impact of magnetic field on peristaltic flow of an incompressible tangent‐hyperbolic fluid in an asymmetric channel. The present physical model is developed based on the considered flow configuration and with the help of small Reynolds number approximations.
