A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

The tangent bundle of the long line [PDF]
PROOF. The long line L is defined in Hocking and Young [1], for example. It is easy to check that L, with the topology defined there, supports the structure of a CX manifold. In fact, it is proved in [2] that L (there called the Alexandroff Half Line) can be made into a real analytic manifold (I thank the referee for this reference). Let us recall what

Finding a tangent line to a parabola
Point of intersection, parabola, tangent lineThere is a neat method for finding tangent lines to a parabola that does not involve calculus. In this problem, for example, to find the line tangent to y = x^2 – 3 at (1, -2) we can simultaneously solve y = x^

Atomic force microscopy-based microrheology reveals significant differences in the viscoelastic response between malign and benign cell lines [PDF]
Mechanical phenotyping of cells by atomic force microscopy (AFM) was proposed as a novel tool in cancer cell research as cancer cells undergo massive structural changes, comprising remodelling of the cytoskeleton and changes of their adhesive properties.

Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.

Low‐Profile, High‐Gain GRIN RF Lenses via Multi‐Material Vat Photopolymerization
We investigate the opportunity of leveraging multi‐material vat photopolymerization printing to manufacture intricate lenses exhibiting permittivity gradients that can increase signal gain in transmitted radiofrequency signals in the X‐ and Ku‐bands. Lenses produced with more distinct low‐loss materials (up to 5) can deliver an 18 dB signal gain with a
