A Cable‐Driven Parallel Wire Robot for Probe Positioning and Tissue Palpation on Curved Phantoms
A wearable cable‐driven parallel robot is introduced for autonomous ultrasound probe positioning and soft tissue palpation on curved surfaces. By combining visual feedback with tension‐optimized control, the system achieves millimeter‐scale positioning accuracy while enforcing safety force constraints.

Cooling holes provide a simple passive cooling strategy for polymer spur gears, reducing maximum operating temperature by up to 9.39% while introducing a measurable gear mesh stiffness penalty. A validated response‐surface model reveals how hole size and location govern this thermal–mechanical trade‐off, enabling design optimization for thermally and ...

Rheological Properties of Carboxymethyl Cellulose Solutions and Gels: An Overview
The rheology of carboxymethyl cellulose is determined by the balance between electrostatic interactions, chain entanglements and association of unsubstituted cellulose‐like domains. The degree of substitution, substitution pattern, added salt concentration and pH determine whether solutions behave as viscoelastic liquids or weak gels.

Tangent modulus method : An original method to measure in-situ rock stress
This paper proposed Tangent Modulus Method (TMM) which is an improved oriented core method to determine in-situ rock stresses. In this approach, the cylindrical specimens prepared along different directions from thick core samples were uniaxially compressed twice to a given stress level.
