Tangent Line and Tangent Plane Approximations of Definite Integral
Oftentimes, it becomes necessary to find approximate values for definite integrals, since the majority cannot be solved through direct computation.

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...

Limits of Pluri–Tangent Planes to Quartic Surfaces [PDF]
We describe, for various degenerations $S\to Δ$ of quartic $K3$ surfaces over the complex unit disk (e.g., to the union of four general planes, and to a general Kummer surface), the limits as $t\in Δ^*$ tends to 0 of the Severi varieties $V_δ(S_t)$, parametrizing irreducible $δ$-nodal plane sections of $S_t$.

The stability of the variable-density Kelvin-Helmholtz billow [PDF]
We perform a three-dimensional stability analysis of the Kelvin-Helmholtz billow, developing in a shear-layer between two fluids with different density.

Large‐Area Printed PEDOT:PSS Shielding and Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) on Textiles
An all‐polymer e‐textile frequency selective surface (FSS) can present controlled shielding, presenting a competitive alternative to metal‐based inks. The results show how PEDOT: PSS‐based e‐textiles could be applied in RF devices for future wearable applications.

Positively curved surfaces with no tangent support plane
We discuss a characterization of positively curved surfaces M with the property that at each point the tangent plane to M is not a support plane for the entire surface.

Two‐Way Shape Memory Polymer Composite Gripper for Adaptive Robotic Applications
A two‐way shape memory polymer (SMP) composite is developed with intrinsic shape‐changing capability driven solely by temperature, eliminating external actuation loads. Embedding the SMP in a low‐stiffness elastomeric matrix enabled reversible transformations during heating and cooling cycles.
