Solitary wave solutions of two nonlinear physical models by tanh–coth method

Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation, 2009
Abstract In this work, we established the exact solutions for some nonlinear physical models. The tanh–coth method was used to construct solitary wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. The tanh–coth method presents a wider applicability for handling nonlinear wave equations.

Exact solutions to the KDV-Burgers equation with forcing term using Tanh-Coth method

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2017
In this paper, tanh-coth method was applied to derive the exact travelling wave solutions to the Korteweg-de-Vries and Burgers equation with forcing term(fKDVB). Solutions that are linear combination of solitary and shock wave solutions, and periodic wave solutions are obtained, by reducing the equation to the homogeneous type using a wave ...
