Observation on creep of tantalum
Because of its high melting point (2976C) tantalum has received consideration as a structural material in nuclear reactors which operate at high temperatures. Corrosion and erosion studies of tantalum in a "hot loop" have been carried out using a bismuth-

ABSTRACT Objective Alexithymia is implicated in both development and maintenance of Anorexia Nervosa (AN). It is unclear what defines alexithymia in AN. In this study, emotion processing related to alexithymia was examined. Method 40 patients with AN, 43 recovered (RC) patients and 35 matched healthy controls (HC) filled out questionnaires on eating ...

The composition of intrusive rocks suggests that the magma was likely generated in a subduction‐related setting. The arc crustal thickness in the Phnom Sro Ngam and Halo Prospects was probably < 40 km during emplacement. Zircon U–Pb age range indicates a correlation with Loei Fold Belt magmatic activity.

Early zircon saturation and crystallisation occur in mafic (52–54 wt.% SiO2) lavas at Tengchong volcanic field. These early formed zircons with high δ18O (6.6‰–7.9‰) indicates mantle enrichment by subducted supracrustal materials. ABSTRACT Late Pleistocene (< 0.2 Ma) mafic and evolved volcanic rocks occur in northern Tengchong Volcanic Field, SE ...

Deceptive Thyroid Pathologies: Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma Mimics and Clinical Implications
ABSTRACT Background Beyond follicular‐derived thyroid carcinomas, lymphomas, and metastatic disease, there are rare pathologies of the thyroid gland that represent a challenge. We report patients with unusual malignancies that mimic similar aggressive cancers. Methods Retrospective case series.

Sputter-deposited BCC tantalum on steel with the interfacial tantalum nitride layer
Tantalum has mainly two phases: alpha phase (bcc structure) and beta phase (tetragonal structure). The meta-stable beta phase is usually obtained in sputtered films.
