Testability on TAP

Microprocessors and Microsystems, 1992
A new approach to testing based on boundary scan is discussed. This technique gives access to individual chip pins by including a little standardized circuitry and a test access port (TAP) on every IC. Boundary scan basics are reviewed, and three principal types of tests that can be performed with the boundary-scan register are described.

An alternative to push, press, and tap-tap-tap

Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2007
A gestural text entry method for mobile is presented. Unlike most mobile phone text entry methods, which rely on repeatedly pressing buttons, our gestural method uses an isometric joystick and the EdgeWrite alphabet to allow users to write by making letter-like "pressure strokes." In a 15-session study comparing character-level EdgeWrite to Multitap ...

On Tapping Torque and Tap Geometry

CIRP Annals, 1980
Summary Variations in tap geometry are reflected in the measurements of the tapping torque. The effects of cutting speed, thread relief, chamfer relief and rake angle on torque have been investigated in a statistically designed experiment when using 7/16 - 20. UNF bottoming taps and EP-oil on a pitch-gear controlled tapping machine.

To Tap, or Not to Tap, in the Febrile Convulsion

Pediatrics, 1973
"Lumbar puncture has become nearly routine in the evaluation of the child who has just experienced his first febrile convulsion."1 This rather categoric statement may apply to patients seen in a teaching hospital or in an outpatient department of a university clinic. It would be interesting to take a poll from private pediatricians.
