Remote Sensing in Ecology and Conservation, Volume 11, Issue 4, Page 394-410, August 2025.We analyzed the effects of fire on secondary forests' vertical structure in different successional stages using lidar metrics. Our results show that independently of the successional stage, secondary forests that experienced fire were more degraded than unburned secondary forest areas.
