Certification/Classification Targets for Beef
Proceedings of the British Society of Animal Production (1972), 1987Successive UK Governments have supported the market for finished cattle by various subsidy schemes. One of these depended on making up the difference between the average market price and a predetermined guaranteed price on an individual animal basis when market prices fell below the guaranteed price.

Adaptive underwater target classification system
SPIE Proceedings, 1999This paper presents a new adaptive underwater target classification system for in situ robust classification ins presence of environmental and target signature changes. A wavelet packet-based feature extraction scheme is used as a front-end processor to extract pertinent features in each subband.

Broadband classification of submerged targets
ICASSP '77. IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2005A recently proposed echo analysis scheme, based on a polynomial model of the target transfer function and an optimally Doppler tolerant transmitted waveform is applied to relatively low frequency broadband echoes from a number of simple submerged targets.

Cooperative Control for Target Classification
2005An overview is presented of ongoing work in cooperative control for unmanned air vehicles, specifically wide area search munitions, which perform search, target classification, attack, and damage assessment. The focus of this paper is the cooperative use of multiple vehicles to maximize the probability of correct target classification.

Classification crédale multi-cibles - Multi-target evidential classification
2012In this paper, we study the problem of joint tracking and classification of several targets. Targets are considered to be known and sufficiently separated so that they cannot be confused. Our goal is to shed light on the contribution of credal classification over the Bayesian classification.

Target Classification and Hypothesis Testing
1977A simple target classification problem, illustrative of all target classification problems, is presented and its solution given. The problems created for classification by unknown target properties and their alleviation are discussed. Finally an extension of the ideas to dynamic situations is outlined.

Microdoppler: NonCooperative Target Classification/Identification
2000Abstract : The augmentation of imaging systems with synergistic non-imaging systems such as a microdoppler ladar has provided tactical combat systems with a beyond visual range capability for combat identification. The microdoppler technology has matured through technology feasibility demonstrations as part of the Navy's Low Probability of Intercept ...

Target Classification By Vibration Sensing
SPIE Proceedings, 1988This paper describes a method to classify targets especially helicopter by evaluating their vibration signa-tures. The mechanical vibrations of the targets are mainly caused by all moving parts ( engines, turbines, gears, etc. ). Different types of targets have different vibration spectra.
